We were a group of 13 motorcycle riders stopping over just for the night. Staff were friendly and professional. Rooms were recently painted and clean, showers were vigorous and plenty of hot water. Beds clean and comfy. This is an older motel that appears well maintained. We asked for extra chairs for outside while enjoying the nightfall, chairs were immediately delivered! If I'm in Wilmington again, I would definitely stay at this HoJo again.
Well, I do a lot of research and I also check things out on the reviews, but the reviews does not do this place justice. Yes, it is a older motel and the parking is limited, but I will tell you one thing I have to get these people top notch they have went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. I drive a dump truck yet. I’m down here working I&A have stepped out way to help us. The rooms are very clean and yes, they have updated this place. I don’t know when but it’s very well taken care of and the managers are upfront. He always made sure that we needed whatever we wanted so if you need a good place to stay here in Wilmington, North Carolina, I will check this place out.
My experience was great! The rooms were clean and did NOT smell like smoke. The manager was so professional and pleasant. He was sensitive to my religious needs and culture. So welcoming. Something about him made me feel safe staying there without my hubby. Also, the night clerk and housekeeping were very accommodating. This location is close to everything.

I highly recommend this place if you’re in the Wilmington area. I spent one week here. The room I was given was extremely clean and recently remodeled or refreshed. The bed was very comfortable. The refrigerator and microwave worked well. Plenty of lighting in the room. Ample number of television stations. The housekeepers made sure every day to check with me to see if I needed anything. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The location itself is convenient to a lot of of what Wilmington has to offer. Even though it is located directly on a main street, except for the occasional train that goes by, I found it to be very quiet. I strongly recommend this place and I will stay here again in the future if I’m ever in need of a hotel in this area.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff is amazing. The nicest, most helpful hotel personnel EVER. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The prices are reasonable. I will definitely stay there again when I'm in the area.
